ABOUT US
In 2006, I made a decision that changed my life. After 25 years at IBM, I decided to leave the corporate world and share my years of experience with others. I started Maureen Blackwell Associates, which is devoted to helping individuals and businesses grow and prosper through coaching, training, speaking and consulting.
During my tenure at IBM, I held leadership positions in product planning, manufacturing and development, finance, marketing and training. My strength as a leader is coaching managers and employees to stay productive and motivated even in the most difficult business situations. It’s that experience and attitude that I bring to work with clients.
I’m a graduate of The Coaches Training Institute, one of the mostly highly-rated coaching programs in the world, a member of the International Coach Federation and certified to teach The Enneagram in Business. I incorporate all of my training into my work in the areas of strategic planning, organization development, change management, culture assessment, mentoring, emotional intelligence and team and leadership development. I am passionate about working in the area of life transitions, especially with individuals who are designing the second half of their lives.
I live in beautiful Rappahannock County, Virginia, with my husband, David, our 8-year old Bernese Mountain dog, Scooter, and our cat, Smokey. I try to remember that there’s more to life than work and spend time hiking, gardening and reading.
